We are a fish and chip restaurant, situated on the harbour, which offers the freshest fish and seafood. We also offer a take away service, please pop in to try our amazing food.
Fresh Seafood
Whether you are looking for traditional fish and chips or are looking for other award winning seafood, please make Polar Bites your first choice. We use only fresh fish and real potatoes for our fish and chips, never frozen, so that our customers can continue to enjoy the quality that they have come to expect. Whilst our fish and chips are outstanding, we also have a selection of fresh seafood including Scallops, Salmon, Halibut, Sea bass & Tuna, which we cook on our griddle. Our restaurant on the harbour has amazing views, food and atmosphere and we can seat up to 24. Although we are not licensed, please feel free to bring your own wine. There is no corkage charge and glasses are provided. In summer we are open 7 days a week from 12 noon to 10 pm and during the winter we are closed on Mondays, open 12 noon to 9 pm Tuesdays to Saturdays and are open 4 pm to 8.30 pm on Sundays.
Fishmongers
We also own the fishmongers, Polarpak, next door to the restaurant; where we have a superb selection of fish straight from the harbour including:
